A delicious and fresh salad incorporating the tastes of Fall. Made with Honeycrisp Apples and a sweet and tangy Apple Cider Vinaigrette.
I am so crazy with this salad. I’ve been crazy with Honeycrisp Apples for awhile now, but adding them to the present salad, has taken my like to subsequent level!

Honeycrisp Autumn Harvest Salad is crammed with delicious crisp lettuce, topped with a couple of ingredients, and tossed along side a sweet and tangy Apple Cider Vinaigrette.
It’s everything i really like about Autumn, bound up during a delicious salad. I’m hooked.
INGREDIENTS:
Apple Cider Vinaigrette:
- 6 Tablespoons Oil canola or vegetable
- 2 Tablespoons Apple Cider Vinegar
- 1 Tablespoon Water
- 1 Tablespoon Dijon Mustard
- 1 Tablespoon Sugar
- Salt to taste
- Black Pepper to taste
Honeycrisp Harvest Salad:
- 1 Head Romaine Lettuce
- 1 Large Honeycrisp Apple
- Bacon Pieces
- Dried Cranberries
- Bleu Cheese crumbles
- Pecan Halves
INSTRUCTIONS:
Apple Cider Vinaigrette:
- Whisk or blend all ingredients together. Chill until ready to use.
Honeycrisp Apple Salad:
- Chop the lettuce, rinse, and dry.
- Peel the apple, if desired, and chop.
- Place the chopped lettuce in a large bowl with a lid. Pour half of the dressing over the lettuce. Place the lid on the bowl, and shake to toss. Divide the lettuce between two or three individual bowls.
- Top the lettuce with the chopped apple, bleu cheese, dried cranberries, crumbled bacon, and pecans. Drizzles the remaining dressing over the salad. Serve.
